Best 2017 comedy web series to watch in United States

33 top rated 2017 comedy web series are available in United States right now. The category comes from the film's own metadata, so a title can appear under more than one. The year is the release year (2017), not the year it reached streaming — the OTT date is on each title page. Only titles rated 7.0 or higher with at least 100 votes make this page, so a single enthusiastic rating cannot push a film to the top.

Frequently asked questions

Which comedy web series can I watch in United States?

33 titles on this page are tagged Comedy and available in United States. Each title page names the platform and the audio languages.

How is the Comedy category decided?

From the film's own metadata — the same tags the platforms and film databases use. A film can sit in more than one category, so it may appear on several of these pages.

Which 2017 web series are streaming in United States?

33 titles released in 2017 are available in United States right now. The platform and audio languages are on each title page.

Does 2017 mean the release year or the OTT year?

The release year. A 2017 film may have reached streaming later — the exact OTT date is on the title page.

How is "top rated" decided here?

A title needs a rating of 7.0 or higher out of 10, from at least 100 votes, to appear on this page. The rating comes from TMDB's audience score, plus OTTpath visitors' own star ratings where enough people have rated a title. We do not use IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes scores — those are licensed and not ours to republish.

Why does a film I like not appear?

Either it is rated below 7.0, or not enough people have rated it yet. The vote floor is there on purpose: without it a single 10/10 rating would put an unknown title above everything else.

Are these the best web series in United States or everywhere?

These are the highest rated web series that are actually available in United States right now. A better-rated film that nobody can stream here is left out, because this page is about what you can watch today.
