Best comedy movies to watch on Plex in New Zealand

8 top rated comedy movies are available on Plex in New Zealand right now. The category comes from the film's own metadata, so a title can appear under more than one. Only titles rated 7.0 or higher with at least 100 votes make this page, so a single enthusiastic rating cannot push a film to the top.

Frequently asked questions

Which comedy movies can I watch on Plex in New Zealand?

8 titles on this page are tagged Comedy and available on Plex in New Zealand. Each title page names the platform and the audio languages.

How is the Comedy category decided?

From the film's own metadata — the same tags the platforms and film databases use. A film can sit in more than one category, so it may appear on several of these pages.

Does Plex New Zealand have comedy movies?

Yes — 8 titles right now. The list changes as Plex adds and removes titles in New Zealand.

How is "top rated" decided here?

A title needs a rating of 7.0 or higher out of 10, from at least 100 votes, to appear on this page. The rating comes from TMDB's audience score, plus OTTpath visitors' own star ratings where enough people have rated a title. We do not use IMDb or Rotten Tomatoes scores — those are licensed and not ours to republish.

Why does a film I like not appear?

Either it is rated below 7.0, or not enough people have rated it yet. The vote floor is there on purpose: without it a single 10/10 rating would put an unknown title above everything else.

Are these the best movies in New Zealand or everywhere?

These are the highest rated movies that are actually available on Plex in New Zealand right now. A better-rated film that nobody can stream here is left out, because this page is about what you can watch today.
