Story
Following a visit to Kyoto, artist Eric Baudelaire explores themes of visibility and control through a documentary essay. The film centers on a woman working in an art bookstore who performs bokashi—the deliberate obscuring of images in books. Through her hands passes the entire collection, giving her the power to decide what remains visible and what stays hidden from viewers.
