In the 1970s, a medical student named Hunter Adams challenges conventional approaches to patient care by believing that laughter and human connection matter as much as clinical treatment. Willing to break rules and defy institutional expectations, he pursues an unconventional path through medical school, convinced that compassion and humor can transform the healing process. His journey tests both his commitment to his beliefs and his relationships with those around him.
