Story
In the Joseon era, Lady Cho is a highly intelligent woman who feels trapped by the strict limits placed on women in her society. Wanting to exert power from behind the scenes, she proposes a dangerous game to her cousin Cho-won, a famous libertine and seducer. She challenges him to seduce Hui-yeon, a dedicated widow who has vowed to stay chaste and keep her reputation clean. Cho-won eagerly accepts the bet, viewing it as a fun conquest. However, as he begins his careful approach, the situation quickly becomes complicated. What starts as a simple wager transforms into a messy conflict when real feelings begin to develop. The three individuals soon find themselves tangled in a dark web of hidden desires, high social expectations, and severe consequences.
