Story
Ramon arrives in America as part of the 1980 Mariel boatlift, when Cuba's government sent thousands of citizens to the United States. Like many others in this wave of migration, Ramon faces suspicion and hostility from established Cuban communities in Miami who view the newcomers with disdain. The film follows his struggle to navigate life in a country that doesn't welcome him, exploring the tensions and challenges faced by these displaced people.
