Where to watch Floods - Challenging our Future (2016)

Story

This documentary investigates why major cities around the world remain vulnerable to catastrophic flooding despite our ability to predict and prevent such disasters. From New York to Bangkok to New Orleans, coastal urban centers face mounting threats from environmental changes including ground subsidence and shifting sea levels. As cities expand rapidly into high-risk zones, extreme weather events grow more intense. The series examines the disconnect between scientific knowledge of these dangers and the protective measures available, questioning why communities continue to face preventable hazards and what better planning could achieve.
