Story

Chopped takes an unconventional turn as chefs face off in a survival cooking competition. Contestants must construct their own kitchens using minimal resources and overcome physical obstacles to earn their ingredient baskets. With cooking happening over open flames and two demanding rounds each week, competitors battle both the elements and the clock to create dishes under extreme conditions.

Why watch

  • Hosted by Ted Allen with judges Marcus Samuelsson, Maneet Chauhan, and Gabriele Bertaccini
  • A fresh take on the cooking competition format with outdoor survival elements
  • Eight-episode first season available in English on Discovery+

Good for: Cooking competition fans who enjoy challenges beyond traditional kitchen settings will find this engaging, though suitability for younger viewers is unclear.
