Story

Rein, a Beast Tamer, is cast out from a hero's party and decides to pursue life as a wandering adventurer instead. While taking a test to officially become one, he encounters Kanade, a girl from an exceptionally rare and powerful cat-eared species, being hunted by a monster. After he helps her escape, she defeats the creature with ease and becomes intrigued by him. She proposes a contract to become his companion, and together they begin a new journey.
