Story

In Japan, where the criminal justice system boasts a 99.9% conviction rate, a skilled defence lawyer achieves the seemingly impossible: securing an acquittal for a client despite overwhelming evidence against them. The series explores how the line between right and wrong can blur unexpectedly, and how circumstances can transform ordinary people into something darker. As the lawyer navigates complex cases, the boundaries of justice and morality become increasingly unclear.

Why watch

  • Features Hiroki Hasegawa in a lead role across 10 episodes
  • Created by Kazutaka Iida with a mystery-focused narrative
