Where to watch Kapyong (2011) in New Zealand

Story

This documentary examines a pivotal 1951 confrontation during the Korean War when Chinese forces pursued retreating South Korean troops toward defensive positions held by Australian and Canadian soldiers. Positioned in a valley that served as a traditional route to Seoul, the UN forces held the geographical advantage and artillery support, while the Chinese army relied on overwhelming numerical superiority. The battle became intensely personal, fought often in darkness at close quarters, ultimately marking a crucial moment in China's Fifth Offensive campaign.
