Story

In the Belgian town of Doel, a handful of residents continue living despite decades of government pressure to abandon their home. Surrounded by industrial development and a nuclear facility, the community has watched schools, shops and churches close while buildings crumble around them. This documentary follows the determined inhabitants who refuse to leave, exploring why they choose to stay in a place most have written off as forgotten.
