Where to watch Pelada (2010) in Malaysia

Story

This documentary explores informal soccer played in streets and makeshift courts across different countries. Rather than focusing on professional leagues and stadiums, the film captures how people worldwide engage with the sport in its most basic form. Each culture has its own name for these casual games—from pick-up soccer in America to pelada in Brazil, where the term literally means 'naked,' referring to the game stripped to its essentials. Through these grassroots matches, the film offers glimpses into the lives and communities of players globally.
