Story

This dance performance explores the artistic tradition of Chinese calligraphy through movement and choreography. Created by Taiwanese dancer Lin Hwai-min, it forms the final chapter of his Cursive trilogy, presenting the most abstract and liberated expressions of the calligraphic form. The piece incorporates elements of Tai Chi and features an original musical score, captured during a 2009 performance at Taiwan's National Theater.

Why watch

Unique fusion of traditional Chinese calligraphy and contemporary dance choreography
Features original compositions by Jim Shum and Liang Chun-mei
Concludes Lin Hwai-min's acclaimed Cursive trilogy with highly abstract movement

Good for: Viewers interested in dance, music, and Asian artistic traditions will find this performance engaging; the certificate rating is unknown, so check before watching with children.
