Story
Three friends set out to create a documentary about extreme poverty in Africa. Dan, motivated by guilt from a previous visit, convinces his skeptical friend Rob to join the project. Together with David, an enthusiastic activist, they embark on an unconventional journey across continents. Starting in 2009, they travel by hitchhiking, backpacking, and budget flights, experiencing life on just $1.25 daily for food and shelter. Their path takes them through Europe before reaching Africa, where they navigate abandonment and uncertainty while pursuing their ambitious goal.
