When a villager named Anna claims to have spotted a tiger in the fields near the village of Wagherya, the news spreads rapidly through the community. While some residents believe him, others dismiss it as a fabrication. As village elections approach, the Sarpanch becomes anxious about the potential danger and calls in a forest officer to investigate. Despite extensive searches, the officer fails to locate any tiger.
