Story

Set in Pakil, Laguna, Turumba follows a young boy named Kadu as his village undergoes transformation when a foreign visitor arrives during their local festival. The arrival brings new economic forces that begin to reshape the community's way of life, creating tension between the old customs that have long defined the village and the newer commercial influences taking hold. The film explores how these changes affect Kadu and those around him.
