Where to watch Triolets (1981)

Story

This experimental film presents a visual exploration of space and perspective through a divided screen format. The work combines multiple camera movements filmed in an artist's studio, each captured with different lens types to vary the field of view. These recordings are then rearranged into a collaged composition, creating a unique study of how the same space appears distinctly different depending on the camera lens used.

Why watch

• Experimental cinema by Hungarian artist-filmmaker Dóra Maurer exploring visual perception
• Innovative use of multiple camera lenses and collage technique in 16mm filmmaking
