Story

This documentary examines a massive residential complex in Mexico City built during the country's economic peak in the 1960s. Designed by modernist architect Mario Pani, the Unidad Habitacional Nonoalco-Tlatelolco was conceived as a revolutionary 'vertical city' that transcended social divisions. The film explores how this ambitious urban vision has evolved and changed over the decades through the lens of its apartment towers.
