Story
Rainer takes on his first management position at a construction site, hoping it will turn his family's fortunes around. He, his pregnant wife, and teenage daughter Doreen relocate to a modest house on the city's outskirts that requires extensive work. While Doreen struggles with the move, she befriends Mara, a wealthy neighbour whose privileged upbringing masks controlling parents. The two girls' friendship soon leads them down a troubling path as Mara encourages increasingly risky behaviour.
