Story
A high school chemistry teacher in Texas once dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player before an injury derailed his career. Now coaching his school's struggling team, he makes a wager with them: if they reach the state championship, he'll pursue a major league tryout. When the team exceeds expectations and wins their way to state, he honors his promise. Against the odds, his performance at the tryout impresses scouts enough to earn him a contract, giving him an unexpected second chance at his childhood ambition.
