Story
Joey's life takes an unusual turn when his friend Bart returns from the dead as a revenant—a conscious zombie with a particular hunger. Unlike typical undead creatures, Bart retains his ability to speak and think, but faces a gruesome challenge: he must consume blood regularly to slow his body's decay. The film follows their relationship as they navigate this bizarre new reality together, blending dark comedy with horror elements.
Why watch
- A unique combination of comedy and horror genres that doesn't follow conventional zombie tropes
- Features an articulate zombie character that sets it apart from standard undead narratives
- Directed by D. Kerry Prior with a cast including Chris Wylde and David Anders
Good for: Viewers who enjoy unconventional horror-comedies; the horror and war genres suggest it's not suitable for younger audiences or family viewing.
