Where to watch The Magic Box (2003)

Story

A Tunisian filmmaker in his forties grapples with personal turmoil and marital strain while preparing to direct a film rooted in his own past. As he develops the project, he revisits memories of his childhood—a household divided between his austere, religious father and his uncle Mansour, a free-spirited projectionist who first introduced him to cinema. The film explores how those formative experiences shaped him and whether reconnecting with them might offer a path forward in his troubled present.
