Story
In an alternate 1950s where toxic gas blankets the earth, The Fitzroy hotel operates from an abandoned submarine anchored off England's coast—humanity's last destination for a seaside getaway. Bernard works as the hotel's all-purpose staff member, constantly battling to keep the vessel sealed and functional. When he becomes romantically involved with one of the guests, his life spirals into deception and turmoil as he attempts to conceal her violent actions from fellow visitors and investigating officials while the hotel itself deteriorates around him.
