Story
This experimental short film presents a visual composition built from fragmented imagery that moves with erratic intensity. The frames are structured around stark white divisions that split and attempt to reconnect, creating a dynamic visual rhythm. The work incorporates the motif of a train approaching a station, rendered through distorted and overlapping sequences that build into intense visual collisions.
Why watch
- Experimental cinema from director Peter Tscherkassky exploring visual abstraction
- Part of a Cinemascope trilogy examining form and movement through film
- A brief, unconventional exploration of narrative through fragmented imagery
Good for: Viewers interested in experimental and avant-garde cinema; not conventional entertainment for general audiences.
