Story

A young man travels to Tuscany with his filmmaker friend to spend summer with his parents. Weighed down by personal struggles and regrets, he remains withdrawn and struggles to open up, even as his friend attempts to connect with him. The Italian countryside offers little relief from his inner turmoil, except when he's on his skateboard. His parents respect his silence, and he keeps his pain to himself.

Why watch

  • Directed by Moris Freiburghaus with an intimate documentary approach
  • A concise 26-minute exploration of personal conflict and silence
  • Captures the contrast between idyllic setting and internal struggle

Good for: Those interested in character-driven documentaries exploring emotional complexity, though suitability for family viewing is unclear.
