Story
A massive snowstorm blankets a town in upstate New York, bringing everything to a halt. A group of elementary school children, led by Natalie Brandston, devise a plan to keep schools closed by intercepting the mechanical snowplow that clears the roads. While the kids execute their scheme, Natalie's older brother Hal pursues the attention of the school's most popular girl. Their father, a television meteorologist, competes with a rival weatherman to cover the day's unfolding events.
