Story

This documentary follows the life of Salma, a woman from a south Indian village whose family confined her from her teenage years. During her isolation, she found an unconventional way to express herself through writing, eventually sharing her work beyond the walls of her home. Her journey led to recognition as a celebrated Tamil poet, transforming her personal struggle into a powerful voice that questioned the social norms of her community.
