Story
Three twelve-year-old friends abandon summer baseball camp to follow Joe's parents on a mysterious journey they've kept secret from him. As the boys embark on an unauthorized road trip to uncover the truth, they navigate close calls with authority, rely on an unexpected ally, and test the bonds of their friendship during what might be their last adventure before entering junior high. Set in 1980, the film traces how a summer of discovery shapes their transition into adolescence.
