Story
This historical drama follows John Reed, an American journalist navigating the turbulent early 20th century. Caught between his passion for socialist ideals and his personal ambitions, Reed witnesses pivotal moments in the Russian Revolution while attempting to build a life with Louise Bryant, a writer who shares his radical vision. The film explores how Reed's commitment to revolutionary change intersects with his complex romantic relationship, set against a backdrop of political upheaval and social transformation.
