Where to watch Preemptive Listening (2025)

Story

This documentary explores the role of sirens in our world through the work of over 20 contemporary musicians. Rather than treating sirens merely as warning devices, the film examines how these sounds function across political, environmental and social contexts. By featuring original siren compositions, the film investigates whether alarms must always convey urgency and distress, or if they can communicate in different ways.
