Story

Director Lou Colpé turns her personal camera work into a poignant examination of time and memory. Beginning when she was a teenager, her ongoing documentation of her grandparents takes on new meaning as her grandmother begins showing signs of cognitive decline. The film becomes an intimate portrait of a long-married couple navigating an unexpected challenge, with radio songs serving as touchstones for shared history and fading recollections. Through her lens, Colpé explores how filmmaking itself becomes a way of preserving moments that might otherwise slip away.
