Story

After a violent attack on a traveling wagon train, a nun finds herself the sole survivor. Stranded and vulnerable, she encounters a hardened gunfighter living a solitary life. Despite their vastly different worlds, the two form an unlikely bond as they navigate the harsh desert landscape together. Their relationship becomes central to this 1970 western tale of survival and human connection.

Why watch

  • Classic 1970s western with Richard Boone in a lead role
  • Unusual pairing of a nun and a gunfighter drives the narrative
  • Directed by Jerry Hopper, featuring Leslie Caron

Good for: Western fans who appreciate character-driven stories, though the violent content may not suit younger viewers.
