Story

Kings Point is a documentary that explores life in a Florida retirement community that attracted thousands of older New Yorkers during the 1970s and 80s with promises of sunshine and vibrant social connections. Through the lives of six residents, the film examines what happens as this aging population confronts mortality and the realities of their chosen paradise. It balances humour and melancholy while reflecting on the complexities of community and ageing in America.
