Story

Oliver Cassidy, a Tasmanian environmentalist and eighth-generation resident, undertakes a solo journey down the Franklin River to honour his father's legacy. Decades earlier, his father participated in a pivotal environmental movement that protected the river and its surrounding wilderness from a major dam construction project. Through this personal expedition, Cassidy retraces that significant moment in conservation history while navigating the remote and pristine landscape that was at the centre of this environmental battle.
