Where to watch Exposed (2001)

Story

This experimental short film takes a brief sequence from an existing feature—a man watching a woman dance through a keyhole—and deconstructs it through innovative visual techniques. By placing a moving film strip with perforations in front of the projector, director Siegfried A. Fruhauf fragments what we see into partial glimpses. The work plays with how we perceive movement and time, breaking the original footage's rhythm into measured, repetitive intervals that transform a simple scene into something entirely different.

• Nine-minute avant-garde work examining how we watch and what we see
