Story

This 1963 Swiss documentary offers a window into rural school life through the eyes of children themselves. Young students share personal essays about their everyday experiences—from their daily commute to school, the simple rituals of sharing milk during breaks, and the occasional scuffles that break out in the schoolyard. The film captures an intimate portrait of childhood in a countryside setting through these authentic student perspectives.
