Story

This documentary explores two 16th-century fortified towns—Berwick in northeastern England and Pamplona in Spain—through an unconventional lens. Rather than focusing on historical events, the film examines how living within ancient defensive walls shapes the psychological and social experience of residents. Using distinctive sound design and visual observation, it investigates what these anachronistic structures mean to contemporary inhabitants.
