Story

In California's Sonoran desert, near military installations, lies Slab City—an unconventional settlement where people seeking an alternative lifestyle have made their home. Residents of varying ages have abandoned conventional society, prioritizing freedom over material security. The community's only electricity-powered space is a modest internet café operated by Rob, where visitors can also find coffee. The documentary explores the lives and choices of those who call this remote desert town home.
