Backed by Japan's powerful Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi and the Liberal Democratic Party, the film captures the behind-the-scenes machinery of an election campaign. Through intimate cinema-verite style filmmaking, it offers a raw look at how political systems and power dynamics actually function on the ground.
