Story
This experimental documentary explores humanity's relationship with the sky through three interconnected themes. The film examines our ancient fascination with flight and early attempts to achieve it, alongside the darker realities of animal experimentation and the tragic consequences of falling from great heights. By weaving these contrasting narratives together, the work creates a visual and emotional meditation on what it means to transcend our earthly boundaries.
Why watch
- A brief, thought-provoking experimental documentary from Hungarian filmmaker András Szirtes
- Explores profound themes about human ambition and our connection to the natural world
- Unique artistic approach to documentary filmmaking with unconventional narrative structure
Good for: Viewers interested in avant-garde cinema and philosophical documentaries; not designed as mainstream entertainment.
