Story
Set in medieval France, Béatrice eagerly awaits her father's return from years of captivity in England. When he finally comes home, her joy turns to dread as his true nature emerges—one of cruelty and tyranny. The man she had idealized from afar becomes a source of suffering for Béatrice and her entire household, subjecting them to relentless mistreatment and degradation.
