Story

Set in a dystopian future, the Empire of Mortemonde controls Earth's population through a brutal monthly virtual reality game called Battledream. Players must score at least 1000 points to survive another month, with the added danger of real death within the game. A determined young slave named Syanna Meridian teams up with her friend Alytha to challenge this oppressive system. To rally the last free nation, Sablereve, to their cause, Syanna must compete in a final high-stakes match against Mortemonde's elite players.
