Where to watch Bacteria Killers (2019)

Story

As antibiotic resistance grows into a global health crisis, scientists are revisiting an almost-forgotten approach to fighting bacterial infections. A century ago, French researcher Félix d'Hérelle identified viruses that attack bacteria, offering a potential treatment before antibiotics were discovered. This documentary explores how bacteriophage therapy was abandoned and why researchers today are investigating whether these microscopic organisms could provide solutions to infections that modern drugs can no longer control.
