Story

This documentary explores the creative process behind filmmaking itself. A director and cinematographer work on a project documenting butterfly populations and environmental degradation, but the film shifts focus to their behind-the-scenes conversations. In the editing suite, they debate how to present complex environmental issues to audiences, grapple with storytelling choices, and confront the challenge of engaging viewers with demanding subject matter in today's media landscape.

Why watch

  • A unique meta-documentary that examines filmmaking techniques and editorial decisions
  • Explores environmental themes through the lens of documentary production
  • Compact 22-minute format offers an unconventional perspective on communication and storytelling
