Story

Always Brando weaves together two narratives: a fictional account of how a Tunisian village experiences disruption when an American film production arrives in their midst, and a real-world chronicle of director Ridha Behi's attempts to collaborate with the legendary actor Marlon Brando during his final years. The film explores the intersection of cinema, community, and the complexities of bringing ambitious projects to life.

Why watch

  • Unique hybrid format blending documentary truth with fictional storytelling
  • Explores the real-life intersection between filmmaking and Marlon Brando's later life
  • Directed by Ridha Behi, who also appears in the film

Good for: Viewers interested in experimental cinema and behind-the-scenes filmmaking stories; certificate unknown, so check before watching with family.
