Story

This documentary follows Mrs O., a resident of Prague living with memory loss, which she affectionately calls 'Alda'. Despite her condition, she maintains a sharp wit and independent spirit, offering candid observations about her daily life. Her home features reminders of who she can trust, while her mind sometimes drifts to Cold War-era anxieties. The film captures her defiant personality and dark humour as she navigates life with her condition.

Why watch

  • Directed by Viera Čakányová; a 52-minute exploration of memory and identity
