Story
This documentary explores cenotes, natural sinkholes in Mexico that held deep spiritual significance for the ancient Maya people, who believed these water sources bridged the physical realm and the world beyond death. The film weaves together the stories of those who live near these geological formations today, creating a meditation on how past beliefs and present lives intersect within these mysterious natural spaces.
